Hēi Yè is a work that merges visuals, experimental sounds,synthesizers, and sampling and modulation to create a visible performance of auditory perception. Under the surface of the conscious and unconscious, a full-range of sounds is stacked up with unpredictable turbulence of analog and digital in timely response. The shifting visuals in giant spomenik drive our sense. The focus is on the energy conversion of consciousness and perception through the amplification and modulation of analog and digital signals. And it transforms consciousness into crowd mobility and gathering in visuals. Listeners re-form the purely sensory soundscape through intra-brain resonance from unstructured and irregular full-range sounds.
